Artists tend to keep a sketchbook that few see. The reason is that the work contained are sketches and not finished pieces. These works are not meant to be seen by the public, unless they turn out to be amazing and that it fits into what we do consistently. Regardless, sketches tend to be very honest and that line quality is often lost in finished art. There is a lot to be said about the image created in the moment.
